Buds and weed in Sevilla, Spain - my impression

Hello dear rasta audience🤝Want to tell my story about adventures with weed in Sevilla, with some stories of local inhabitant.

You are probably aware that marijuana laws are different in different places. This article should shed light on cannabis regulations in Sevilla, what do local people and cops think about weed, hash availability, pricing, my own experience etc.

I've just come back from an interesting journey to Sevilla. It was a double week vacation and now when I'm at home, full of impressions I'm writing this post to share them with you, guys. As a strong smoker of the weed and hash I couldn't even imagine my trip with a 'clear mind'. Further I'll give you the information that I got when I was looking for the good drugs staff in Sevilla.

Where can one acquire cannabis in Sevilla?

Although I personally didn't face any issues with obtaining cannabis in Sevilla thanks to Brian, he did enlighten me about the process (and not just related to cannabis).

Typically, higher-level dealers procure their inventory from wholesale darknet websites. In theory, you could navigate the complexities of using darknet platforms to have your order delivered in a matter of days or even weeks. The website thehiddenwiki.com provides all the necessary links to make purchases in the darknet using the Tor browser and cryptocurrencies. However, this method is generally more suitable for those seeking larger quantities and have the luxury of time (several days) for delivery.

While if you are having a short vacation or a trip to Sevilla and need not much weed right now or tomorrow - only local weed dealers may assist you. You may still use oldschool approach and hustle dark streets or parks in search of strange person who will sell you some joint for cash, but not sure this is the best way to spend your time in Sevilla. Nowadays almost all dealers have gone online and crypto already, so hustling the streets may simply not work. Now the weed-selling process looks like this - you find some messenger contacts of a local dealer (ask some barmans or simply google), contact him and choose what you would like to order, pay in crypto and get your stuff delivered to a hotel or some pre-selected location. Personal meetings are something dealers try to avoid - so weed is usually dropped at some approximate point you firstly discuss, and you get photo and GPS coordinates where to take your package after delivery.

I was a little bit shocked, because I got used to the idea that “cash rules the world”. But after crypto became something you may exchange to real cash, and do not need to meet in person to transfer it - cash started losing its points in the drug business. Brian also commented that now if you do not know crypto - you have a friend who is keen on bitcoins and all that shit, so you may simply ask him to help and do a crypto transaction for you. And I really have such friends, so yep, agree.

Weed turnaround rules in Sevilla, Spain

Everybody knows that cannabis with low THC and high CBD is widely used for the treatment, you need only the doctor's prescription. But the realization and keeping of non-medical cannabis is highly controlled by the government of Spain. For you it means that you can't obtain high-level weed in the store, like in Canada.

When I'm traveling, I'm always trying to make new friends. This time I did it on my first evening in Sevilla, I met Brian. He relocated to Sevilla two years ago. As I'm a lucky man - Brian was a good rasta guy and loved weed as much as I am. He shared a joint with me and some points about the local dealers. For the beginning he calmed me down by saying that despite the fact that cannabis is strictly controlled by law and prohibited in Sevilla - police are not so straight at this.

But what if you get caught with weed in your pocket in Sevilla?

According to Brian - if you have not more than 10g of weed or 5g of hash and you are not doing any other bad things in public - cops should not punish you. They should just ensure you are not a dealer who sells stuff, and after a short talk should leave you alone and just confiscate your stuff (to smoke it themselves haha).

There are some stories about dirty cops who try to get a bribe from tourists with weed in Sevilla, but these stories are rare, also better not to do this cause you may be arrested for this as a separate crime. Easier just to watch you back and not to walk with large amounts of weed in your pockets.

What do Sevilla locals think about weed and cannabis

Despite non-medical cannabis being officially forbidden in Sevilla - locals are absolutely absolutely relaxed about this type of light drugs. Young people and tourists are large target audiences for weed dealers in Sevilla, and all locals know that. This does not mean you may smoke joints in any bars, but no one should be surprised if they find you smoking weed somewhere in the dark corner of the street.

According to Brian - even local cops in Sevilla are occasional weed smokers, so we may state that the atmosphere is relaxed in everything related to cannabis, while you should anyway watch your back to avoid any stressful situations with police.

We were a little drunk already when Brian offered a joint of some noname sativa strain, of course I agreed. We were smoking not far from my hotel and it seems I saw other guys doing the same near another cornet 🙂So may say locals are not against weed, I saw this myself.

I liked the weed Brian shared, not the best one I’ve ever tried, but good enough. So I asked Brian to share contacts of his dealer, while he refused telling me his dealer works only with an old trusted set of clients. So I simply asked Brian if he could be my dealer during the nearest days - he agreed. I wish everyone to find his own Brian in Sevilla🙂
