Buds and weed in Turkestan, Kazakhstan - my impression

Hello dear rasta audience🤝Want to tell my story about adventures with weed in Turkestan, with some stories of local inhabitant.

You are probably aware that marijuana laws are different in different places. This article should shed light on cannabis regulations in Turkestan, what do local people and cops think about weed, hash availability, pricing, my own experience etc.

I've just come back from an interesting journey to Turkestan. It was a double week vacation and now when I'm at home, full of impressions I'm writing this post to share them with you, guys. As a strong smoker of the weed and hash I couldn't even imagine my trip with a 'clear mind'. Further I'll give you the information that I got when I was looking for the good drugs staff in Turkestan.

Perception of Cannabis Among Residents of Turkestan

It's worth noting that high-THC non-medical cannabis isn't officially available for purchase in licensed cannabis stores in Turkestan, but that doesn't mean the locals are strongly opposed to it 😃. It's primarily the younger crowd and students who openly enjoy cannabis and are open to welcoming new enthusiasts into their social circles. They consider a couple of joints an essential part of a good party, although it might be a bit challenging to fit in if you happen to be over 25.

In general, indulging in the random joint after a long workweek is a cherished tradition among many residents of Turkestan. People tend to be tolerant, so there's no need to worry about judgment when it comes to your cannabis consumption. However, it's advisable to avoid doing so in public to avoid unnecessary attention.

The overall attitude of locals to weed is rather relaxed, so you may even feel yourself home in Turkestan after one good joint, telling this from my own experience. Jason shared with me a joint of simply perfect sativa (while he did not know the exact strain). We were smoking outside the bar, and saw other guys doing the same on the other side of the street 😁 So I can definitely say that smoking weed is rather popular in Turkestan.

I’ve asked Jason if he may share contacts of his dealer, cause stuff was out of this world. He told me that his exact dealer does not work with new people, so he will be my dealer during my vacation, which was simply perfect. I wish everyone to find your own Jason in some bar of Turkestan.

So where do smokers purchase weed in Turkestan?

Despite the fact that I did not have any problems with weed in Turkestan because of Jason, he told me how everything works (and not only with cannabis).

Usually high-level dealers purchase stuff on wholesale darknet websites. Theoretically you may also go through all the nightmare of using darknet websites to get your stuff delivered in several days or even weeks. Website thehiddenwiki.com has all the links you may need to order stuff in the darknet using Tor browser and crypto, but this method usually works if you need a lot of stuff and have time (several days) to wait for the delivery.

If you are the person who doesn't want to wait or you vacation in Turkestan is too short for waiting, only the local dealer can save your time and help with weed. Of course, you can just use the familiar way many people find it to wander around the city looking for a stranger who can offer you a small variety of joints for cash. But I think it's not the best manner to waste your time in Turkestan. In our time almost all sellers work online and use cryptocurrency, so walking around the streets may not bring you any results. Now the way of buying cannabis has become more convenient - you get some contact of a dealer, write to him via messenger, choose what you want to buy, pay via crypto and get the delivery to a hotel or previously discussed place. If you don't know any contact of a dealer just ask some barmans or just use google. One more point you should notice that dealers try not to have a personal meeting with the buyer, so the package of weed is just placed in the previously discussed place and you get the photo and GPS tag of the exact place of your purchase.

I was really surprised because I was totally sure that “cash rules the roost”. But now when you can easily convert cryptocurrency to real cash and this point excludes personal meetings thereby, cash started to lose their positions in the drug business. Jason also advised me if you are not familiar with the crypto world, just ask your friends. He was totally sure that everyone nowadays has at least one friend who is close to the crypto and likes smoking as well. So you can just ask him to make the transaction for you. It is absolutely safe for both sides.

Cannabis laws in Turkestan, Kazakhstan

You can probably guess that distribution of non-medical cannabis is strictly forbidden and regulated by laws of Kazakhstan, so you can not purchase high THC weed in some official shops like you may do in the Netherlands for example.

On my very first day in Turkestan I got acquainted with Jason who has lived here for 3 years already and who is also a regular cannabis smoker. He shared a joint with me and told some stories. As he told that despite non-medical weed being prohibited - cops are relaxed and calm in everything related to cannabis, with some rare exceptions.

What if I get caught with marijuana in Turkestan?

In fact, according to Jason - if you have less than 10g of weed or 5g of hash and behave correctly + do not smoke joints in public - nothing critical should happen. Cops will check if you are not intending to sell the stuff being a real dealer, they should just confiscate weed after a short talk.

People say sometimes police officers try to get some material benefits from catching you with weed in Turkestan. These stories are rare, but mind that some cops may force you giving them some money to leave you alone. But never try to offer them anything yourself, this may be treated as a separate crime. Easier just to watch your back not not get caught with weed in Turkestan.
